You will need a gas or electrical stove to heat the Black Oxide in Steel Tank.
Black oxide (also known as Chemical Blackening), has been used for many hundreds of years to blacken steel parts.
It provides you with a smooth jet black finish which when oiled, gives a very appealing appearance and provides good currosion properties.
Mainly used on weapons, hand guns and tools etc.
The advantage of using black oxide is: There is no build up of the metal as it penetrates into the material.
SAFETY REQUIREMENTS:
BLACK OXIDE IS A CONCENTRATED ALKALINE PRODUCT. WHEN HEATED, BECOMES VERY AGGRESIVE, THUS SAVETY GLASSES AND RUBBER GLOVES SHOULD BE USED WHEN WORKING WITH THIS PRODUCT.
